let me start by saying that this day, Saturday June 29th has been the HOTTEST day of Summer it was above 100 degrees and we had decided to go to the beach…. crazy right!! I always tell my husband that I dream of Bella being a great swimmer and it being her favorite sport.. she has no fear of the water and it makes her very happy.. I call her my little fish.. 😉 first thing she said was “there’s a lot of water, it’s huge mom” .. I replied “yes it is, it’s a beach”, she right away said “I love the beach mom” she took her sandals off and ran to the water… “water is so cold momma” she said, but that didn’t stop her so here are a few shots that I was able to capture…
watching her run to the beach made me remember of my childhood and how i use to love coming to the beach…
first thing she grabbed before we headed to Galveston was her beach spongebob bucket.. she’s not allowed to watch spongebob but she really liked the bucket and how could i say no to her sweet face…
my husband Daniel wrote this on the beach for Bella and she was so happy that they went on and on writing and drawing just about anything….
she kept saying lets build a castle but unfortunately i didn’t go prepared to build a castle so i promised her we would come back soon…
this pose was just for my mom, she and my dad came with us and Bella was happy to her her mama and papa with her at the beach..
as we left i looked down and saw her small footsteps and i grabbed my camera before the sand covered them up and I was so happy with the end result… ordering a canvas to hang up in the restroom..
she is loving summer so much it might be her favorite season of the year… well i think it’s every child’s favorite season hehe… I will be posting a weekly blog on how we spent our summer weekend so far it’s the second one and she loved the beach… she cried for about 10 min straight until grandma told her we would eventually come back before summer was over, that kept her calm and then she went on and on about how great the beach was and how much fun she had… I have marked my calendar for our next beach trip lets just hope it doesn’t get to hot, if not i might had to postpone it and make it up with just enjoying the pool… or riding her scooter.. till next summer post see you next week for more fun…
