Happy Wednesday – we’re halfway through the week, y’all! With Valentine’s Day next week, I wanted to show you some of the CUTEST family photos I captured last fall. This gorgeous family just moved to Texas and I’m so happy I was able to capture so many memories for them in their new home town.

Houston Memorial Park is where you will find most local photographers this fall. Family photography is so important and this park has a few amazing spots. It wasn’t hard finding a few spots for my clients because I work out at this park. While I do my three mile walk I stop and take pictures on my phone and mark the location on my map app. Granted, I don’t do this every time I am there. But it is the best way I found to scout for cool spots with gorgeous lighting.
She is one
This sweet baby girl was celebrating her first birthday and what better way than with a family session right? Over the past year I have photographed a few newborns and i’m excited to see them for their first year session in the upcoming months.

I don’t get to see this family as much as I would love to. As you can see they have five adorable children and they are always busy and on the road. I was so happy to hear back from them this spring and here is a little bit of what i was able to capture for them. Also, this is one of my favorite locations in Cypress, Texas.
I don’t know about all of you, and I am speaking to photographers and business owners. But I don’t always hear back from my clients after I’ve delivered a gallery. When I do hear back it makes my freaking week. No joke, I love hearing back and getting reviews. This momma decided to post all her gallery on facebook and I was so humbled by the words she wrote.
There has only ever been one person that I trust enough to take our family portraits. Maricruz thank you for taking these amazing pictures of our “lil” familia. These pictures truly capture what our family is made of. A little silly, a little laughs, a little tears, a lot of happy and an unmeasurable amount of love.

If you live in Houston or around the area you are experiencing rainy days. For some, photography isn’t a big deal. But what you don’t know is that Houston is filled with a lot of photographers and for the most part if it rains we can’t work or at least photograph those beautiful families, babies, couples, weddings, etc, outside.
I believe that rain is a blessing because If I can’t meet that fun-loving family at our location, it means that I get to stay home and spend more time with my family and catch up on work. Which means I am home and blogging this gorgeous Cypress session.
