Houston Outdoor Family Photographer… Houston Tx Lifestyle Family Photographer

First family session of 2017 has hit the blog. I am very excited to have jump started my year with this great family of four. Mom is a great local photographer herself. We had the greatest time during our session in Houston.

Mom made it very clear she wanted to get more shots of her with her two beautiful girls. How could she not? These are the moments I pray for.

I only have one daughter and having images of me with her is very important. Normally I am always behind the camera. This year I hope to be more in the frame.

Perfect family shot! I fell in love with this as I was capturing it. Mia’s smile is everything, sight.

Oh how I loved seeing momma sing with them as they were dancing. Sibling love is the best.

Can we talk about their outfits? Outfits its part of our session planning. Momma said, ” I can do that in my sleep.” She was right.

This day had the perfect weather. There was traffic everywhere, people were out enjoying nature and life and so were we!

As the light was changing I was so happy to get these images of mom with her girls. Sunset always has that yummy light that I love. I have two “You and yours” sessions booked in the next two weeks and I can’t wait to share more of mom and their children. I’ve had the honor of shooting these sweet girls for three years now. It is always a pleasure seeing them. I absolutely love this age. Sweet Hannah had a birthday this week and I can’t wait to share her birthday session with y’all.

A lot more of this session will come late next week. This family lives in Downtown Houston. It was only fair to shoot their fall session with the Houston skyline as a background. Another family session is on the books for this location. The excitement kicks in when a family books a session with me. It feel like Christmas Day.

The connection between each family is very unique. I thought that this family had something very special. They were celebrating their ten year anniversary and they dressed for the occasion.

I know I am a photographer. I am also a mother. The mother in me loves “mommy and me time.” Most likely I will be doing a second blog post from this sessions. There is so much more to share.

This bridge is beautiful and very busy. We managed to work around four other families. Talk about a good location, haha.

These photos below are my top favorite. Can we talk about how gorgeous their dresses were? I am a fan of pretty pastel colors and when I knew what mom was thinking for her daughters It made me even more excited for their Houston family session.
