I’ve had the best 4.5 years of my life and today you were no longer my pre-schooler baby but a big girl who was starting Pre-K.

a very exciting year for both of us. I thank God for every second i got to spend with you, you made my days shorter and i will miss your company when i have to head to the store or get a mani, but i know you will have a great time at school and make new friends. My little munchkin.

I wanted to remember this milestone and i just had to capture these moments where she could look back and see how much fun it was to shop for back to school… and it went a little like this.

and then the actual day came and she was up at 6:15am brushed her teeth and washed her face, i helped her get ready and brushed her hair… she went for a ponytail. I was still getting ready and getting some paperwork ready while she kept saying “we are going to be late hurry up” i could see her eyes full of excitement, on the way to school she kept saying to drive faster because school was going to start with out her… i mean her excitement was at 110% lol. she had breakfast with her new friends and was ready for her bell to ring. I left her in her classroom and i got a kiss and a hug from her i said “God bless you B and have a fantastic first day of school” and her reply “love you mom see you after school” i didn’t think it was going to be this hard but as i am writing this blog tears are just coming out 🙁   I miss her already but i know she will have an amazing year!

Dear B,

four and half years and you have given me more than happiness… you changed my life… you made me a better person… you made me think about one think ten different ways … you keep me on my toes and for that i love you more than my own life. I sometimes think that you where born to be a mermaid you love the water and i have lots of pictures and video to prove it, the one thing that makes you completely happy is being free under the water. Remember that i love you with all my heart.. you are my favorite girl and not just because you are my only daughter but because you are my best friend…. if people would hear us on the phone they would probably start laughing and i hope we stay connected years from now as much as we are now. you were very excited about this session and here it is just for you. LOVE you my B… mi bella hermosa.

where to start…. let me see i use to suck at beach sessions and it took me to a very bad place but with practice this kinda session can happen and i DIE because she is my reason for everything… my STAR!!! who brought joy to my everyday life and for this i am grateful. the end.

i don’t even know where to start….. this little girl right here is just AMAZING…. she loves the beach and she rocked her session as you can see and these are only a few of my favorite shots.

Mom and Dad get ready because she is going to be a heartbreaker.

Keeping it real folks.. like always. it’s been crazy around here and i mean literally but always with the right attitude and moving forward.. that’s what we do right? So with that being said this summer i was taken back to the beach several times and my love for it grew and grew even more to the point where i just wanted to stay there… i mean our trip to Padre Island was amazing and i wish i lived closer but i will settle with being in the same state and i can’t wait to go back.

Galveston as you know and if you don’t know it’s not that pretty but look at this model she made it looked gorgeous so YEAH take me to the beach and this will happen i promise. beautiful light, beautiful locations and I will make your dreams come true. believe me when i say it. working on something very special for next year’s spring so mark your calendars for beach minis… i will be scouting for new locations as well so that should be interesting.
