we made it out to the city because FIVE is just a big deal to us.

born and raised in Houston, it was only fair we took this to a whole new level and hit downtown for her very own session. days before we had been struggling with her asthma for tow nights straight but she was so excited about her session that i couldn’t take that away from her with only one day shy of her birthday and i was so happy i didn’t, the weather after that day was just horrible. One year makes a huge difference and you don’t realize it until you go back to your digital files or picture albums in my case my blog entries, and she sees her self as well because she sees me editing and i show her my blog post when i write about her, her adventures or milestones. going from four to five was a big change, her style changed (no more MJ 🙁 ), she grew out of some baby items, and she learned way more Spanish. One thing she hasn’t let go of is her lovie.. and she can take all the time she wants before letting it go.

I love that she loves the camera and that she pushes me to capture everything, she is just beautiful inside and out. and this years goal is to print everything in albums yes you read right i said ALBUMS… and i know once my clients see them they will want to print every session on an album.

 Please NOTE her birthday was a few weeks back but I’m now just getting around to blogging about it.

Houston TX Child Photographer

Winter is almost over. Spring is just a few weeks away. Surprisingly im saying yes to the warmer days mmm maybe because it’s just been really crazy cold here in Texas when it’s usually not. I’m very excited about the new studio location that i friend referred me to, you can expect a few family sessions there and maybe even urban minis. I will be out of the office from April first to April eight, we are taking our annual spring trip and i can’ wait to share a few things with you all. New branding will be in the works this summer eeeekkk i can’t wait. A lot of things will be changing  this year as well as adding. No one booked a mommy and me mini session so they will not be coming back at all..it’s very sad really, but i understand. any who… my session has been booked and i can’t wait to have that one on one session with my own daughter. Maybe i will give you guys a sneak peek when my new branding is done. hehe or maybe earlier as i can’t seem to control my self and over share but i love you all so yes maybe i will blog them so you all can see.

I can’t wait to blog about this fun adventure that we had back in December maybe 3-5 post because there is a lot and i don’t want to overwhelm y’all with so much. so be sure to make a stop frequently to get your maricruz photography fix on.
