I loved that this family came in to the city for their family session, The Woodlands is about an hour away from downtown Houston and I know the drive is not fun. This sweet boy came in with a Christmas list and was telling me all about it. To tell you the truth I was so happy to hear him talk about it, just thinking about drinking hot chocolate, cold days, and wearing my uggs got me excited for fall/winter. Weeks have passed and we are starting to get lower temperatures and I have already started shopping for Christmas, which takes me to my next topic.

I have been busy with sessions and editing away that I forget to blog all these beautiful families. November is just a few days away and I can’t believe I have survived the month of October. Along with everything else I am updating my blog and I have a lot to put together while my blog designer takes care of the design process. I am really excited and I can’t wait for everyone to see!

A little bit more about this fantastic family…

Of course you can’t see what happened behind the scenes, but I can say that it was all laughs and this sweet little girl was on my lap while I took some pictures. Yes, kids love me, I can’t help it.  I think incorporating video is upon me, seriously I need to do it myself or hire someone to do it for me. I will take note of this, hehe.

It’s here… Houston family photographer. YES. that’s me. Busy season is here! Just like the memes that get posted every fall, “October is to photographers what April is to accountants.” YUP, that’s right. I won’t lie, I FREAKING LOVE IT! This year like very year MP family gets bigger. I have new clients this year and i feel so honored that out of so many talented peers they chose me. My busy season started two weeks ago and I am happy to say I am fully booked for the renaming of the year. I have another busy weekend ahead of me, (beach sessions) but before diving in to the same schedule of shoot, edit, post, email, repeat, and repeat I leave you with this beautiful family who came all the way from Corpus Christi, Texas!!

Y’all, I mean they are just amazing. They came in with huge smiles and left with even bigger smiles. I delivered their gallery yesterday and I have already seen all the love on Facebook! I love when parents share their family session with family and friends. I can’t wait to share all my sessions from the studio fall minis. There is more to come, I promise you guys. Also, if you didn’t know the blog is getting a huge makeover so stay tuned for that.
